Those are just a few. Do you have any that you know of or have one from your own experience you would like to share?? I know mine personally (we are celebrating 10 years this year) suited us. Of course, David and I were arguing about something I cannot even remember anymore. I was so mad that I didn't hear that he had our song playing (Forever by Ben Harper) and he gets down on one knee to propose. It wasn't elaborate as the above ones were, but it fit us. We love to argue!! hehe.

What to do while in a BIG tense situation
What would you do, if you had your kids with you and something so extreme happened, that could traumatize your children in the future? Would you, could you be in the right state of mind to think about something positive to do while something horrendous is happening around you? I read an article tonight that was so inspiring that I decided to share it here. As you know, parts of Mexico are having huge issues with gun fights and drugs, etc. Martha Rivera Alanis is a teacher in Monterrey, Mexico. Class was in session when a shootout began outside the school. Thinking of loud noises, those kids had to be scared. What she had them do was so amazing, so outside the norm and definitely brave that it makes me wonder if I could even do that. She had to be scared, right along with her kids. But she put them and their fears before her own and was probably even calmed herself. Please read this article. It is inspirational!

Looking at the world in a different light
Have you ever felt that we focus too much on what is wrong with the world and not enough on how it is being fixed? We focus SO much on the negative but never give the positive a shot. You will hear constantly that the happy, positive stories really do not sell, but the only reason that is is because all anyone EVER sees is the negative. When you are predisposed to negative, you only want to see the negative. Same goes with life. How many times have you heard or been told that 'Life is hard' or 'Life is unfair'? How many of you have told your kids that? I know I have, at least until recently. We all have been given this predisposed notion that life is difficult and we must always think of it as such, but the reality is that it is not difficult or hard or unfair. Are we presented with obstacles? Yes, but how the outcome becomes is all up to you. You control your fate. If you are always thinking about the negative, then that is all that will be drawn to you. Change your attitude, change your life.
For the last couple of months, I have been trying so hard to change my own attitude on life and have done pretty well. I am not focusing on any of the negatives that may be going on in my life. They do not have meaning for me. I know that everything will work out the way I want them to, as long as I have faith in myself and the world around me. But here is the thing...I cannot watch the news. Who wants to hear about the depressing crap that goes on in the world? Not me, which is why I never watch the news. Yes, you could say I am not informed that way, but being informed does not necessarily change the event. Most of the time, it just makes you dread what could be coming up in your own future and that is not thinking positively, is it? So, this is what I have decided to do. I am going to find news about the positive side of the world. I want to hear more about what we are doing to change the world around us and less about what is happening that is in essence wrong with our world. So please stay tuned and hopefully this will bring you a more uplifting news feed than what you would normally see!
Remember, be grateful for what you have and what you have coming to you. The more gratitude and sincere love you have for what you have, the better and more complete your life truly will be.
